Mubadala Investment Company has started work on a new waterfront project on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Moreover this project is a big step in making the island a top lifestyle and tourism spot. It will bring exciting new features and improve the overall look and feel of the area.

The project began with a special event, where Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy Group CEO of Mubadala, and Dr. Bakheet Al Katheeri, CEO of UAE Investments, officially started the construction.

Features of the Al Maryah Waterfront Development

Additionally one of the most exciting parts of the new development is a 30-meter-tall glowing ball placed in the water. Around it, more than 1,000 water jets will shoot up to 75 meters high, moving to music created by famous composer Ramin Djawadi. These designs are made by WET, a world-famous company known for water shows.
