Bvlgari to Launch Luxury Island Resort in Abu Dhabi

Bvlgari and Eagle Hills to open a luxury island resort in Abu Dhabi by 2030, featuring villas, mansions, and a private marina.

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has teamed up with Abu Dhabi-based developer Eagle Hills to create a new luxury resort and residential community on a private island in Abu Dhabi. The project is expected to open in 2030.

Besides the new development will be on a quiet, horseshoe-shaped island just off the coast of Abu Dhabi. It will offer beautiful sea views and easy access to the city by a private bridge or boat. The island will also have a 40-berth marina, with some mansions offering private docks for boats up to 25 metres long.

The project will include:

  • 60 hotel guest rooms
  • 30 private villas
  • 90 luxury mansions ranging from 1,650 to 2,500 square metres

A yacht club with marina access and an exclusive members-only program will also be part of the resort.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, said that this new project shows Bvlgari’s ongoing commitment to luxury and design. He said the resort will set new hospitality standards and praised his partnership with Mohamed Alabbar.

The resort will also include a Bvlgari spa, fitness and wellness spaces, green areas, a private beach, signature restaurants, and a large ballroom for special events.

Mohamed Alabbar said that Abu Dhabi has always been a symbol of vision and elegance. He believes this new project will make the Emirate a leading destination for luxury living.

Apparently the architecture will be designed by the famous Italian firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. However, they’ll blend modern style with local heritage, using gold and glass to reflect the island’s natural beauty.

Patricia Viel said the island’s calm setting is ideal for a peaceful getaway near the city.

Moreover LAND SRL from Milan will design the landscape, focusing on nature and local culture, with well-designed gardens and coastal features.
